Tulsa 1921 Massacre Black Wall Street Movie Grindaholik media had the pleasure to assist award winning director Marlon Ladd in filming a historical feature about Black Wall Street, the Tulsa Massacre of 1921. We completed a short film about a while back (see the video on this page). This is a story that most people do not know about. The Greenwood District, also known as Black Wall Street, was at the time, the most successful African-American town in the entire United States. It was a completely black owned area and included hospitals, movie theaters, stores, churches, an airport, private planes and more. It was destroyed by an angry white mob over jealousy and their attempt to lynch Dick Rowland, a black man accused by a white woman of sexual assault. The black community stood up to protect him and a shootout occurred that preceded the destruction of the entire community. The people of Greenwood fought valiantly, but in the end they were outnumbered and outgunned. Even still, they were heroes and that part of the story needs to be told. Check out the short film and be on the look out for the full length coming soon. Get A Quote

That’s why we’ve put together this list of 10 tips for a successful recording session at GMG Studios: Practice before you come: Make sure you know your material well before coming to the studio. This will help you feel more confident and prepared when it’s time to record. Communicate with your GMG Studios engineer: Your engineer is there to help you sound your best, so make sure to communicate any concerns or questions you have during the session. They can help you with anything from adjusting levels to giving you tips on how to improve your performance. Take breaks: Recording can be tiring, so don’t be afraid to take breaks to rest your voice and clear your mind. It’s important to stay fresh and focused throughout the session. Be patient: Recording is a process, and it may take several takes to get the perfect track. Don’t get frustrated if it takes a little longer than expected. Relax and have fun: Recording can be a fun and creative experience, so try to relax and enjoy yourself. Remember, the more comfortable you feel, the better your performance will be. Dress comfortably: Wear comfortable clothing so you can move and breathe freely during your performance. Arrive on time: Arrive on time so you have plenty of time to set up and get comfortable before recording. Bring any necessary equipment: While GMG Studios provides microphones, you may need to bring any instruments or accessories you will need for your session. Stay hydrated: It’s important to stay hydrated when recording to maintain the health and functionality of your voice. We provide bottled water to all of our clients to help them stay hydrated during their session. Drinking water can also help alleviate dry mouth or vocal strain, which can affect your performance in the studio. Have a positive attitude: A positive attitude can go a long way in making the recording session a success. Come ready to work hard and have fun at GMG Studios. In today’s digital age, having a website is crucial for businesses, organizations, and individuals alike.
Video marketing has become an essential tool for businesses to connect with their audience and increase brand awareness. With the rise of digital media, video content has become more accessible, engaging, and effective than ever before. If you haven’t incorporated video marketing into your brand’s strategy, it’s time to start. Here’s why: 30-second ad videos 30-second ad videos are short, snappy, and highly effective in grabbing the attention of your audience. These videos are perfect for introducing your brand, promoting a new product or service, or even sharing a special offer. With the average attention span of online users getting shorter by the day, a 30-second ad video is the perfect way to make a quick impact. Recap videos Recap videos are an excellent way to keep your audience engaged and informed about the latest happenings within your brand. Whether it’s a recap of a content series, an event, or a training session, a well-executed recap video can be a great tool for building brand loyalty and keeping your audience up-to-date. While ad videos are typically more promotional, recap videos are more informative and educational. They help your audience understand your brand’s vision, culture, and values. They also provide a behind-the-scenes look at your brand, which can help build trust and credibility with your audience. The difference between the two types of videos lies in their purpose. Ad videos are more focused on promotion, while recap videos are focused on education and information. However, both types of videos are essential for building a strong brand identity and connecting with your audience. In addition to the 30-second ad and recap videos mentioned earlier, there are many other types of videos that can be used in marketing to promote a brand or product. Here are a few more examples: Explainer videos: These videos are designed to explain a concept, product, or service in a clear and concise manner. They often use animations or graphics to simplify complex topics or ideas, and can be a great way to educate potential customers about your product or service. Testimonial videos: Testimonial videos feature real customers sharing their experiences with a product or service. They can be a powerful way to build trust and credibility with potential customers, as they provide social proof that your product or service is effective. Product demo videos: Product demo videos showcase the features and benefits of a product in action. They can be a great way to highlight the unique selling points of a product and demonstrate how it works. These videos can be particularly effective for products that are complex or have a lot of features that are difficult to explain in text or images. Social media videos: Short, engaging videos designed for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or Snapchat can be an effective way to reach younger audiences and build brand awareness. These videos are often designed to be shareable and can go viral, providing a lot of exposure for a brand or product. By incorporating a variety of video types into your marketing strategy, you can create a more dynamic and engaging brand experience for your audience. Each type of video has its own strengths and can be used in different ways to achieve specific marketing goals.
