What’s the difference between managed hosting and regular hosting?
Regular hosting gives you a login and says “good luck.” We give you full service: managed updates, backups, performance monitoring, and real support—like a digital landlord with a full-time maintenance crew.
What’s the difference between this and GoDaddy or Wix?
Big difference. Those give you space. We give you full support. Again, our plans include hands-on updates, backups, tech maintenance, and real humans who know your site—not ticket bots.
Do I own my website?
Yes. Everything we build for you—your pages, content, and design—is 100% yours. If you ever leave our care plan, we’ll help you transition your site so you stay in full control.
What happens if I cancel my plan?
Since your site is hosted by GMG, it will go offline unless you move it to your own hosting account. We offer a Site Migration Support Service ($199 one-time) to help make that painless.
What happens to my plugins and theme if I cancel?
Some of the tools we use (like Elementor Pro or premium themes) are licensed through GMG. If you cancel, those tools are removed. We’ll give you a list of what you’ll need to buy and help with the switch if needed.
Can I make my own edits?
Yep! You’ll get “Editor” access so you can update your text, blog posts, and photos. We handle the techy stuff like plugins, backups, security, and licensed tools.
What kind of support do I get?
Every plan includes email support and monthly content updates (how many depends on your plan).
Here’s how fast we respond:
- Basic Plan: 2–3 business days
- Essentials Plan: 1–2 business days
- Pro Plan: Same-day turnaround
What if something breaks or I get hacked?
We’ve got you. Our care plans include malware scanning, daily backups, and emergency restores—so your site stays protected, even when the unexpected happens.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Absolutely. You’re never locked in. Upgrade when you grow, scale back when needed—we’ve got flexible options for every stage.
